d16z6 running a 1 wire o2 sensor and p07 ecu? CEL on

I recently purchased my first modified Honda:D, it's a 89 civic DX hatch with a d16z6 swap. I paid $ 700.00 for it. I know the z6 uses a p28 ecu, so I was looking around and noticed it has a P07 ecu:eek: from a 92-95 civic vx D15z1 vtec. Also I realized I am also running a 1 wire 02 sensor:eek:. I was wondering what I need to do to convert from 1wire to 4 irew 02 sensor. Also can I just swap a p28 in with out any problems .:confused: Any help would be realy appreciated as I am very new too the Honda scene!
 
I'm guessing the previous guy did a OBD0 to OBD1 swap since you have the P07 ECU. If the guy did it the right way you should have the conversion harness. I shouldn't say that, you can just splice the OBD1 ECU plugs to the OBD0 harness. If you have the conversion harness you just have to add the 4 wires for the o2 sensor. Did he at least hook up VTEC?
 
The car does run, just at idle sometimes the revs fluctuate. Yes he did hook up V-tec. I can hear it kick in but don't have a tach to see at what rpm.
 
Well figure out if it has a OBD0 to OBD1 converaion harness connected to the ECU. If it does it should be easy to connect the 4-wire o2 sensor. Also get a P28.
 
I bought a p28 off ebay couple days ago, received today and installed it in the car. It looks like the previous owner just spliced into the origingal harness, instead of using a conversion harness. Oh well.

I will try to post before and after pictures tomorrow. When I got it the car was red with black spots everywhere. Right off the get go, I painted it flat white with 96 cent spray paint, also painted bumpers white too. Then i threw a red pin stripe down the trim of the car. running on 15" bronze Konig heliums 10.8 lbs each.
 
Almost forgot, I added a front lip off of a late 80s early 90s dodge dakota. which fits with out any modification at all. and added some yellow fog lights. It has a red and black bride steering wheel, which I hate! 2 1/4" exhaust, AEM tru-time cam gear, and a cheap Ebay air intake. The guy that sold me the car has a turbo kit, brand new off of ebay comes with 50 trim turbo, cast iron manifold, external wastegate, SMIC. Cant remember if it came with piping. He only wants 200.00 for everything!.
 
Thanks for the help 90civicboy, it is greatly appreciated! I have this weekend off, so I will be looking at the ECU to see if I can wire in the 4 wire 02 sensor. I can't find the adapter for my digital camera so I can't upload pics. Oh well!!!
 
I finally got the pics uploaded, Forgot to take some good pics of the car with the Heliums but they are on the car. ENJOY!!!
 
A P07 uses a 5-wire O2, which is also expensive. So you might as well convert to 4-wire and a P28 or get a P28 or P06 modified with O2 heater disabled.
