Turbomirage is currently using hockey pucks. They work very well.
I got the supplies to build my Hockey Puck Mounts.
Pictured are 2 pucks, a piece of 3" sched. 40 pipe the length of both pucks, a M12x1.75 bolt, washer and flange nut, and 2 12mm steel sleeves that are both the length of one puck.
Tonight and tomorrow, I'll see if I can make this crap into a new rear mount.

I for one can understand whats taking so long......and i appreciate the crazy shit he is doing and cant wait for it to be done..... as is 3 quaters of the people following
Terrible News:
As I was nearing completion on the mount, my dad comes over for his usual bitch fest about how I don't "pitch in" even though I've been buying fuel to heat the garage ALL FUCKING WINTER. So he tells me that now he wants $250/month for the use of 1/2 of his tiny little shit garage. I told him I couldn't afford to pay him that much. He says, "Oh, you can afford to buy parts for your car but you can't give me any money for my garage?"
I said yes, that's right, If I give you money for the garage, I won't be able to buy the things I need for my car, so I wouldn't very well need to use your garage now would I?
So he tells me if I can't pay then I need to get out of his garage, apparently he'd rather have an empty garage that he uses to store his scrap, then let his son use it to actually be productive.
Long story short, Instead of spending today finishing the motor mount, I spent it clearing all my parts out of the garage, and pushing the car into the trees. I have to get all my shit off of his property in one month, or he'll start charging me a storage fee.
I know this story kind of makes my dad seem like a selfish prick asshole, but the truth is, he's much worse. He cheated on my mother and destroyed his family of six children. Just wanted to put that out there cuz I'm feeling a lot of hatred towards that piece of shit right now.
The civic project is postponed indefinitely. I'm going to be atttempting to buy some property this summer, so it's possible that the car will be finished, just not anytime soon.
