lol, i appreciate both or yalls help but im confused as a bit** right now, rigth after i do the swap the motor is going to be stock exept for a header and intake, is it best to run the civic ex ecu with a chip then later on when i upgrade the cams retainers valves and springs then epgrade again or what, sorry for the confusion.

and also when wiring the VTEC into either the gsr ecu or the ex ecu i need the VTEC wires i saw on rywire.com that they have a harness for that is that all that i would need

yeah it will be fine keep us posted on how the swap hows good luck!!

how do you know it wont create power up there?? how do you know it will lose power how are you so sure?? have you dynoed a stock motor on a mugen chipped ecu?? then what exactly are those fuel maps meant for then?? if they arent meant for a stock motor then what are they meant for?? i dont think anyone that has a built motor is going to run there car hard on a mugen chipped they go with hondata, crome, neptune aem something is stand alone!

have you ever EVER looked at a dyno chart

as for fucking up your power. go search the forums.

i'm done wasting my time with you

you should just save a little money and run it on the stock ecu. you'll pick up about 5whp but only by dynoing it. and dyno tuning can be pretty expensive depending on the area. so it's weighing your costs. i dont think 5whp is worth a dyno tune yet. on my B16 all it has is full exhaust, and intake so i havnt tuned yet either.

you cant just throw some arbitrary fuel maps at a motor and expect it to run better because they're different. later on when you get cams/retainers, that whole bit, thats when you should be looking to shell out the money for a chipping and tune. then you should pick up something more like 20+whp, depending on the parts you choose of course.

when you say use the stock ecu do you mean the stock gsr ecu the p72 or the stock civc p28, thanks again

haha u fuckin moron. how about yelling about y it's not a skunk2 like you had before you edited it.

it's the concepts i'm trying to convay.

the redline, and why not to increase it

i thought you went gonna waste your time anymore stupidass!!?? what happened to that?? and by the way your link didnt work!!

you can use either pretty much in my opinion i think ill be better running the p72

well i'm trying to keep you from poluting his thread and this forum with misinformation.

Check this dyno chart out. It's from my D16Z6 (pretty much the same thing as your D15B) in a '91 Si with 9.5:1 compression, Comp Cams 59300 "severe street/strip" cam and valve springs/retainers, AEM intake, DC 4-2-1 header, Magnaflow cat, GReddy SP exhaust, and 11.5lbs flywheel. VTEC crossover is stock and redline is 7500rpm.

Even with the mods and tuning, you can see that there was no reason for me to rev higher than 7500rpm. Tuning would be a waste of $150 right now. Wait until you put a cam into it and then get 'er tuned.

ok and other then that what was the point of the dyno your showing?? cuz i can show you the dyno from my ctr swap on my em1 with a mugen chip ecu and i gained 7 hp from the stock ctr ecu adn revving to 9k and the whole motor was stock except for intake headers and exhasut

post up your dyno chart. i'd love to see if you make power to warrent reving to 9,000rpm. do you like valve float?

nope actually the mugen chipped ecu had a red line to 13k rpm and i missed shifted like 5 times all the way to 13k and the motor never droped a valve the motor is still running hard!!
and hold on im trying to figure out how to post pics on here
