The only reason i thought it was a head gasket was that there was oil deposits all around where the head meets the block. Another thing the motor is a jdm gsr and when i pulled the head there were forged low compression pistons.

Ive done it before, That motor screamed for some reason. I was grabbin gears so hard i broke my cd player...no joke...and it was on a almost stock exedy clutch. If you do it just advance your intake cam slightly thats what i did and it worked out pretty good.
