buying an ecu, dizzy and 4 wire o2 sensor jumper will save you tons of headaches when it comes to the swap, you could always use the jumper set but still use the obd0 injectors and keep the resistor box. as far as the FROG(?) ecu jumper have never heard of them so not sure about the build...
well in that case since your running low boost and not on a budget just boost the motor you have now because it would definitely be a good boosted motor and if you wanted to just throw some parts at it and crank up the boost
depends on what your budget is and what you really want...but something to consider is that you could do an ls/vtec then boost it cause you already have a vtec and ls blocks are pretty cheap
alright cool thanks cause i was looking about doing an h2b swap once i get my 4 door but then compared the prices and an f20 with the b series tranny seemed like a smarter chose, and what about parts would h22 cams and intake work on the f20?
so i was thinking of doing a F20B swap but use a jdm sir tranny, and the quick question i have is...is the F20 bell housing bolt pattern the same as the h22 and are the flywheels the same, and would this work just like an H2B swap? any sort of clarification would help
ok so i think i will try and shed some light on this situation...the ef sedan normally comes with the d15, the d16 dizzy should work just fine cause from what i know there is not a difference between the 2, the b18 turbo injectors hey mite have just put bigger injectors in it but not sure about...
i want to keep the hatch but the cops are always make up stupid reasons to pull me over and i was looking for more of a sleeper car....and the hatch is actually just a rusted out body with integra suspension and motor
so i decided i dont want the civic hatch i have and am just gonna buy a 4door and put my parts on it, but the biggest question i have is will my skunk2 mega power cat back system for a hatch work on a 4door civic of same year? and the exhaust i have is the actual system and not the universal muffler
yeah i just upgrading when the opportunity comes up so i got this going on here and there. probably after i move to denver for college im thinking about doing a b20b swap and i can keep basically any bolt on from my b18
so even tho i have been posting about problems i have been having here and there i decided to just share my experience as a first time honda owner. i bought a 1990 civic si for $600, it was in the best shape but at least it had a full skunk2 cat back sysem with a test pipe. so i did a b18a1 swap...
so here i am again with another problem coming from my b18a1 swapped si....driving it the other day and it starts too lurch and cut out like its out of gas but i just filled it up, so what else could it be? after said problem started i tried to rev it to pass a car and the motor coughed and gave...
yes i tried my friends distributor and same thing, so i checked everywhere and couldnt find anything about wiring it up to double check so i looked at my friends and found out the wiring could be wrong because the person who did the wiring before i got the car had just spliced in an obd1 ecu...
i think i figured out my problem...i bought the car but it already had the hacked up harness with it all i had to do was install the motor and everything else but the guy said he already did the wiring, and all he did was take the obd0 harness and just cut it up to use obd1 dizzy, ecu, and 4...
so i have a 1990 civic si with an obd1 b18a1 swapped into it, and the wiring that someone has done to the harness is very crappy at best, so i was wondering since i have a spare si harness could i just buy Rywire - Online Store and would that make it work better? it currently runs but wants to...
