    B16 CRX Swap/guages?!?!

My car is suppose to be a 90 CRX Si. How do I tell the differance? My gauges worked, but I didnt want KPH that were in there. I swapped in a set of guages from another CRX and NO gauges work except engine temp, and the high beams turn the seat belt indicator on the guages off and on. Is...

B16 swap, will only one 02 sensor work??

I have a 90 CRX Si with B16 swap. I bought it blown and rebuilt it. It has only one 02 sensor in the mid pipe. The engine cannot find idle, it goes up and down. Normal driving it runs well, should I have two 02's? Or do I have another problem? If I do infact need two sensors, where do I...

Sorry for jumping on your post, but I have a ismilar problem and didnt want to start a new thread. I was wondering, I bought a 91 CRX Si, it has a B16a swap. The disributor has the ears broken off. So is it a D16 distributor? For a daily driver would I be better off getting a B16 unit? How...

    honda crx help!!!!!

I bought a 91 CRX Si that already has a B16 swap and there was no denting to get the alternator to clear. I have a B16A with a cable clutch 5spd and I the only things I can see are the swap mounts, the resistor box for the injectors, and very lightly moding of the wiring harness. Of course it...

JDM B16A CRX cooling fan switch help

My CRX with a B16A swap threw rod, and knocked a huge hole in it. Used another B16A block I got from EBAY. It is identical except I could not use the oil cooler. No big, but it turns out the cooling fan switch that mounts in the block near the oil filter doesnt fit. There is a hole but it is...

    B16A Timing

There isnt a mark on the stock pulley, so is it the same if I pull a spark plug and use a screwdirver on top of the #1 piston to find its highest point, then point on the cams gears up? Also, I dont have a timing pointer, so how do I tell what the timing is set at? Thanks

    B16A Timing

So, after it is started, yes it is currently retarded all the way on the distributor, and it runs but not right, reset the timing again by finding TDC, then settup the cams again? Will this center my distributor giving me more room for retard/advance?

    B16A Timing

I have a 91 CRX with B16A conversion. Everything worked fine until it threw a rod, I had the short block and head rebuilt and I reinstalled it. I have fuel, and I have spark. I thought I set the timing right. Maybe I didnt. How do I set the timing on an dual overhead cam car?

If he replaced the distributor, did he check for spark before and after? Do you have spark now?

B16A -perfecly machined, not threaded hole in the back of my block

There is a perfectly machined hole next to where the oil filter goes, it is not threaded and the engine ran fine with nothing in it. I dont know what goes there. There was nothing there in the old B16a, now that I have rebuilt it and gone with a differant block I would like to make it right...

CRX Si B16A (threw 2 rods, rebuilt engine) Timing belt tension / no spark

my timing belt on my rebuilt, and yet unfired b16a has slid back as far as it can on all the pulleys it contacts. It is uncomfortably close to several bolts and just doesnt look right. Do I have improper tension? If so, how do I correct this? I am 98% sure I had the engine at TDC when I...
