yup it was that washewr thingy alright.... i test drove it. Extremely poor performance. ecu shooting a code 9 still no.1 piston postion. When i drove the car it seems to lose power around 3000 to 4000 rpm. or it just seems like its choking on something. its also drinking gas like water.
Donw with the dohc zc swap into a 90 crx si. Got the engine started.... One problem!!! the timing belt tends to slip out to the edge of the cam gears. How can i fix this problem.
okay when i'am at a light. Starting off in first gear i feel that the car tends to lose power after a bit it will pick up the power back up. in the process of that i smeel something burning on my car. Csn snybody plzzz help!
Okay i am looking at the ecu flashing red lights. which i think represents the engine error codes. It spiting out 6, 10, 20, on a pr6 ecu. thats the 89 crx si.
I droped the motor in. Changed the wire harness on the chasis side. HF - SI wires. got everything pluged in. The engine cranks but there is no spark. What did i do wrong? Can anybody help me?
i beleave you can also use a crx si ecu and just rewire the vtec solenoid to an rpm activating switch. I used an auto meter tach and taped the vtec wire into the shift light. Its cool!!! cuz it also works as a vtec controller.
I am trying to remove the rear hatch off my 89 CRX Si. I got all the bolts off and that darn blk tubing with wires in it is my only problem. Where can i disconnect it from?

I did this swap into an HF. I hooked up an autometer tach as the RPM activator. the solenoid is connected straight to the shift light so it acts like a VTEC controller, but the only thing is that you can't set it below 3500 RPM's. You also need to convert the dpfi to mpfi... :hmm:
Geez thanks that would help!!! i must be a dodo head when i ask for some parts they tell me to bring the part in so they can match it up!!! Dang it man! There's not much after market parts for this engine unless you can modify the parts a little!!! Errr
