Yeah, but the spoon P30 I tried is for a Sir2, that is DOHC so I would think it would work better. even with a big intake manifold I would think I could atleast stay on the side of a completly stock GSR with my GSR powered civic.

also with the spoon p30 ecu I took it to 9000 and it pulled good right to it but vtec still doesnt feel like it is pulling like it should, You have to really listen to tell if it even kicks in, seems to kick in all the time but sometimes you can hardly hear it. I have no codes.

So if i cut notches in the screews that go into the sensor I can take them out and replace just the sensor? is there any problems aligning it? where can i get just a TPS? would one from a d16z6 work?

This may sound stupid but did you (or whoever put the dowel pin in) put them in on the wrong side? just remove them and put them in on the side you need? You sure you have the head gasket on the right way?

use a LS gasket, you have a LS block so the dowel pins should line up on the block unless you got the wrong gasket. You buy the gasket for the block so there is no reason why the gasket should not fit on the block.
