I really really really don't trust Sandforce controllers...
most of the sandforce issues have been fixed with recent firmware updates...
ive been looking into SSD myself possibly for an HP folio laptop and they come with sandforce. hard to move from 500GB to 128GB though :/

Yes, but there are still problems. I'd rather go with a Crucial, Intel or Corsair drive that wasn't on a Sandforce controller. Doesn't matter though- I have at least one SSD per machine right now, and none of them are SF. 
ive been dying to get me an HP envy or folio... but they only come with 128GB SSD!!! argh!
