B18a/GSR LS Vtec clearance

Do I need to modify my 89 CRX driverside frame rail to compensate for the bigger block as opposed to the SIR1 motor. I've seen articles on people "sledging" the inner frame rail to make clearance for either the alternator or the crank pulley. Is this true? I know that I should now this.... A little slow today.

Thats what I thought. Any pics of location in the bay. I would really like to make it clean (as in torch and weld a ne plate in) no of this hammern ti it dead shit.

hahah its not as bad as it sounds, you just need to give the alternator pulley area a couple good wacks, you really won't ever see it...
