I HATE NETSCAPE

Dammit I hate this worthless browser. It cannot render much of this board properly. I have to ask, if you are going to write a browser and then bitch because MS "pushed you out of the market" why are you wasting our time with this steaming heap of trash that ignores W3C standard???

Unfortunatley on Solaris without root access Netscape is my only choice. I do not have access to a PC and I cannot install another browser.

Yeah, maybe 10 years ago before they decided they were going to be difficult and do their own thing, and MS took the opportunity to create a browser that's actually compatible with Windows.

one of my biggest problems w/ netscape was them not supporting the IFRAME tag for SO long. unfortunately a lot developers are still staying away from them.

A lot of developers stay away from iframes because of security, but they are cool as shit conceptually. My problem with netscape is it takes code so literally... IE figures out what you meant, plus its faster...

I know the board is W3C compliant, the problem is, Netscape 7 is not.

I will give Opera a try and see if I can't convince the group to move away from Nutscrape.
