Veoh.com is excellent for Japanese tv programs and the history channel...
search history channel samurai...a sweet 1.5 hour long program pops up....will kill the battery...but plug in some speakers...and waste some time at work....

thanks for the tip, i will o that...wont use speakers but my Skullcandy ear phones sound really really good with this phone.

the devices you guys are talking about are repeaters. verizon tried to put one in our building at my last job, and after it was installed no difference in signal. I was still at 0 bars in my cube. I got all system alerts on my cell and didnt have a desk phone, so me being without cell service was ultimately a deal killer for verizon. went back to at&t a month later after i didnt get any texts about a server being down, and all 3 managers calling me all went straight to vm.

That is a great point and is what has kept me with Sprint for so long. They will let you fist them on pricing just to keep you as a customer.
We were putting my brother on my plan and he wanted the Instinct S30 when it had just come out. It was $200. I told them I would only pay $50 and they had to make it work. They caved and I got him a sweet phone. If I don't like my bill I call and complain and get a credit. They are super flexible. I think it is the only reason their business model has succeeded in the face of Verizon and AT&T.
i was pretty happy with my sprint experience recently. took 30 minutes had my number (at&t) and my wifes (prepaid) numbers transfered, account setup, and both phones activated. twas amazing.

Ive been on tmobile for 5 years now, i had 2g iphone which was sweet, but I have upgraded to the new blackberry bold 9700 and love the phone. perhaps the best phone I have owned. I had a android mytouch before the bold and it wasnt all that, my wife has the g1 and its so so. android phones still need some work.

This is pretty ironic. I shit you not, the last page I was on before coming to hondaswap was my verizon account. I've been thinking real hard about switching over to ATT too. I do however have insurance on my curve and it's gotten pretty buggy after 16 months of some serious abuse, so I'll be sure to get a phone out of them here shortly. With only 8 months left on my contract, I may wait it out. I don't even know what the newest/best blackberry is these days. The storm? I'm gonna go look now, actually.
I fucked up and went way over my limit 2 months in row with Verizon, but I got a really sweet female representative and she handled it all really well. Gave me a huge discount.

Lol the nexus one has 3g problems and the keyboard is just as bad as the mytouch (missing letters when u text even when you know you had pressed the key) and battery life sucks and the motorola droid! all I have to say is it is made by motorola. I'm not impressed with either device
The bold 9700 is the best blackberry I have seen (I have used a pearl,curve, storm, and 8900)I love the 3 day battery life my bold gets and the size of the bold is just right for my hands and the screen is nice and bright and I get full 3g bars in the house where as on the mytouch and g1 only get 2 bars of 3g

Have you even used a N1? The 3G issues were patched, the battery life is just fine(easily the same as my iPhone 3G was) and they keyboard works flawlessly. I laugh because you then go on to talk about a blackberry.
I've been rocking the N1 since launch and it's leaps and bound better than anything else on the market save for the N900.
my buddy has one. the N1 is a nice but wasnt my cup of tea, his keyboard was just like my mytouch and i didnt like the lack of push email since i dont use my gmail. the screen on the n1 is sweet but maybe im just tired of touchscreen phones.

They are very good for email, I just don't like the tiny keyboard. Hell, after 2+ years with only a virtual keyboard, I much prefer them without a physical one. I'd rather have a full screen without having a slideout keyboard like the Droid. My point earlier was that you can't base Android off of an individual device, especially the lower powered/older devices.
I can see why people like the Iphone so much...its pretty nice...very functional....really wish i had a shot at the Droid but...what can you do...
So i downloaded an Audiobook on Itunes last night and some apps, my phone was synced but i can find find my book on my phone? Where did it download too? I open up the Ipod feature on the phone and it says no content? My apps are there..
