YEEEEAAHHHHH
As some of you may know, I recently bought a 95' Dx Coupe off of Jeef the other day, and I have been greatly impressed by it. It runs smooth, and the interior is immaculate. I got it home on Sunday, washed it, cleaned it a bit and put on my old wheels. Drove it back to URI where I parked it on Sunday night.
Well, as of 930 tonight, I was given a call by campus police to inform me that my car was without wheels.
Fan-fucking-tastic. Picked up by a cruiser, and went to asses the damage. Apparently they took the wheels and nothing else -, although my car is sitting in the parking lot without any wheels right now. My father should be comming down tomorow afternoon to bring my steelies and and lugs so I can drive it home. Luckily, nothing else was damaged - (maybe short of my car sitting on the suspension, subframe and exhaust). I can't fully look at the car, due to the fact its raining buckets right now, and the parking lot is in about 1" of standing water.
Just goes to show that no matter who you are, anything can happen.
Also, if anyone has a set of wheels kicking around..I might be interested once I get my insurance money.
Thanks.
What a great way to start off a build.
On a lighter note, I have a set of RSR down springs, an RSR Exmag exhaust system, amber corners and new brake pads on the way.
