JG valvetrain FTW
i don't even know what car or motor you have any more... lol
350-400 HP GOAL
in for updates.
did i win?
btw i almost have all the cash for the axles by next week ill have all the cash... ok?
You're sorta right, JP...
my original goal was around 350-400...but I'm going to put a bigger turbo than originally intended and hope for somewhere in the neighborhood of 450whp...on SOHC non-vtec
looks like a load of fun..
God damn, you got shit spread EVERYWHERE.
You work like I do, it's easier to find shit if it's spread evenly across the whole garage
TURBO D FTMFW!!!!!
you need to clean that garage up boy.... that shits a hazard...
bs bring me that intercooler tonight...
cool build but do you really think that you can just put methonol in your tank and run it do you know the amount of work that has to be done to the fuel system to run that stuff. and those 550s will never be big enuff for that power goal unless you plan on runing about 85psi of fuel presure. and the will never be big enuff to make that much power on methonol.
you will never be able to run a welded diff on the street and you might as well stick to racing turtles if you are going to use a HF trans but other than that it is a cool build
LMAO. wow... STFU
haha...you're a dipshit.
a progressive methanol injection kit PROGRESSIVELY injects methanol depending on the boost level...you don't just pour it in your tank - there's a separate reservoir for the methanol. Also, the 550's should be just fine. I made close to 300whp on a B-series, and didn't have them anywhere near maxed out...and if they aren't big enough, I'll just buy bigger injectors. Also, I can and will run a welded diff on the street. The only driveability problem that a welded diff gives you is a heightened effort to make tight slow-speed turns, because the front wheels aren't able to turn at different speeds. This isn't going to be a daily driver, and it isn't going to see a whole lot of miles on the street, so it won't be a problem. As far as sticking to racing turtles with the HF transmission...
I'll tell you what. When I've got everything finished, I'll drive my welded-diff turtle-racing CRX to wherever you are and see how I do against your car. Deal?
He's probly welding the diff in the HF 'til he can afford an LSD for one of his better trannies.
The only transmissions I have are HF transmissions. If I come across a better D-series tranny for a price that I can fit in my budget, I might pick it up. I definitely don't want to use an Si, I don't want to be going through the 1/4 in 5th gear, and the Si's gears are going to be too short to use on the street for what I plan on using the car for.
edit: brain fart. D15B2 = DX. I keep thinking that the HF's were the only dual point motors.
They're DX trannies. I'm going to be running a welded-diff DX transmission.
guilty as charged!
why dont you drive to orlando pickup my shell for free, hang out, eat, drink a little??
then you head back with a rust free shell and you get to keep you crx for the road. ....
that's a looooooong drive....and i've already started hacking shit up on mine
how much did you sell your b-series for?
