Capt. Orygun
Win the Day
did you watch it? What did you think?
Cliff Notes on Pro Tomb evidence given by the filmakers:
Tombs were only used for 100 years and ceased after 70AD
Bone box of Mary Magdalene has both Greek and Arameyic inscription (Mary's family spoke both languages) and refers to her as "Master Mary" (which matches some information that suggests she was actually a early Christian faith leader
The DNA in that box does not match the DNA found in the box of "Jesus son of Josef". While that doesn't tell us what they were it tells us that they were in the same family tomb and had no blood relation.
There is only one bone box ever found with that particular version of the name Mary (Mariamne). That spelling is very rare and is also the same spelling found on second century documents about her life that were suppressed by the early Christian church.
Christ had a brother named Josef, but he went by Josse (Josey). Josse is extremely uncommon to that time frame but is found in the Virgin Mary's genealogy. There is only one bone box that has ever been found bearing the name "Josse". It was found in Christ's tomb.
There was allot more. I would say after seeing it that while this isn't a slam dunk it certainly can't be dis proven at this point.
