I cant believe you just said that. You out of all people. Are you saying that 8 volts makes no difference compared to 5V? You saying that it makes no difference to what the amplifier sees? I know for a fact that it makes a world of difference. I personally have heard it. Either way to each his own. I'll be posting my setup pics in my thread.

This is why we have gain control and structure in audio. As long as noise is not an issue (and the difference between 3V and 8V is trivial in a car), there is no real reason to pay any significant amount of money for "high" pre-out voltage.
