Weather wise...I'm speaking from fact...and while kayak fishing...watching the weather has been a necessity. Plus I took 2 meteorology classes at ERAU for being a pilot.
Normally, the local ponds/lakes/rivers freeze...inducing ice-fishing...this year no ice. Last year when I was fishing for black fish, they went deep when the water got to 56 degrees...this year I was catching them when the temps was about 40 degree....the water is still 38 degree's...they went deep in late Dec. but last year they went deep around end of Nov. they came back, but the DEP banned the blackfish season for some reason...
When the Atlantic doesn't cool, more hurricanes flare up. The Atlantic didn't cool this year, and we are going to get pummeled.
