Uh, where do you come up with these ideas?

Dude. You're king of the project ideas that either won't work, or will cost you 79834170932874109238 thousand dollars.

There were no factory AWD EG/EK/DCs. Just google for pictures, there are a few Del Sols with the CR-V AWD drivetrain that used a fuel cell instead of the factory tank.

Braille in Florida had a 4WD DC with CRV stuff, but they sold it because it ate transmissions and differentials.

come on guys, this has been covered several times here and on other boards. It is well known that Honda made rt4wd civics and integras, along with accords, torneos, etc etc. Just because you don't have them in your country doesnt mean they don't exist elsewhere in other world markets. Try perusing around the archives of world.honda.com sometime when you're bored. And just because your own creativity, skills and/or resources are limited, it doesn't give you license to judge others' capabilities by your own limitations.

aanyhow, does anyone have access to one of these models? I'm mostly looking to see the orientation of the rear driveshaft, fuel tank, subframe and diff, axles, trailing arms, etc

Get a CR-V rear diff, and subframe, then cut, grind, and weld till you cant any more. And you will have use a fuel cell. Look under your car and think if your going to have an AWD system where will there be room for a conventional gas tank.

When you say things like this, why don't you say "In Asia Honda made...." because nowhere else were RT-AWD Accords made.

The Torneo was/is an Accord, but only in Asia. Anywhere else it wasn't anything.

Yes, the Acty, Civic Shuttle (known as the Wagovan in the US, or the Shuttle), Civic (once again guess where this was only made?), HR-V (go ahead, call me a liar.), and a few Acuras all had RT-AWD.

Where are you from again? Oh, right.

Why don't you just buy a shop manual for the SH-AWD Legend, and be done with it.

dude you need to hang up that shitty ass attitude at the door with your crapping all over other peeps ideas all the time

YES, we all pretty much understand that the models I'm looking for info on are from Asian markets. So what's so different from anyone else looking for JDM parts?? like Mugen stuff? Or OEM JDM only stuff that's so desirable here in the states? fucking duh dude

and anyways, wtf does it matter where in the world these cars were made? if they weren't made anywhere near you, and you have no useful info to contribute, then you obviously don't need to be posting in this thread

    simple enough

Just look for the Legend's service manual. You'll be able to find it where you live.

Simple enough? I'd think asking about Asia market cars on a 99.9% English speaking, American frequenting Honda board would not be the place to ask. Why don't you join an Asian forum dude. Learn the internet is fairly segregated; use some different search engines. You shoulda known already you wern't going to get any info you would deem 'useful'.

Why is it you keep talking like you live around where these cars are made and we don't....? Just wondering.

Why do all you guys care so much? If it bothers you, ignore the thread. Why waste your time arguing on the internet about it? It's not a constructive use of your time. Dude took a shot in the dark that maybe someone on here had a link or something, and seems to be trying to be respectful. If you don't have anything constructive to add to this thread, or any thread for that matter, shut it.

    right?

some you fuckers need to open your minds a little bit. Any idea how many military personnel we have serving in locations throughout the world? I know more than a few that have been posted in Asian countries at some point. Any idea how many Americans have traveled to Asian countries on business or just for vacation in the past year alone? I can't believe that in this day and age in the ever increasingly global community that we live in, some people are still like "dahr dey only got dem in udder cuntrees, u cant get dems here"... what, like where my engine came from? and probably YOUR engine?

efkid & slushbox thx for the links & info. Afaik the braille teg ended up being pretty much a massive failure because they didnt invest the necessary time into coming up with good solutions for several issues that they ran into along the way, most notably the center diff. They didnt want to bother doing the custom machine work to fit a viscous or other viable form of a center diff so they just welded the existing clutch pack solid, effectively making it a fulltime locked 4wd setup from an offroad dirt/mud truck. Ever try to drive a welded diff on the street? There you go.

rallysol on HT (think he's on here too) is the guy that built the delsol. I've seen a few custom awd builds and most everyone who's done it has just said f it and ran a fuel cell in the trunk, but I really want to stay with a conventional tank. Hence the purpose of this thread. Honda has designed and built 4wd versions of various vehicles including civics and tegs, I just want to see how they did it.

Not enough people post at 6am. I'm [was] bored. Had something to say. Why not I say it. Not like I'm being an ass to the guy, just suggesting some better ways to go about it.
