We did buy an auto and we drove the G37. The trans is one of the things I didn't like about it. I believe it was a 7 speed and it seemed to shift too often, like it pumped three gears before I hit 30. I'm sure I didn't drive it long enough to get to know it and I'm also sure that it is a nice trans for a lot of reasons. Overall the car felt cramped and tinny. The Acura feels solid and roomy without being like a stupid Camry.
What made the G35 such a turd? I assume you bought an auto. The auto in that I think has the best logic of any I have ever driven.
