Yes you can, an episode of trucks did this on a 60-66 c10

I can't facilitate that kind of labor right now, and no offense, but if I had the money I'd just go down and get the whole thing. I mean, the motor alone is worth more than that, and frankly, it might be worth more than the truck. Knowing you got it for 300 I'd feel bad getting any less, but I'd feel ripped off if I bought it for like 150. Plus I don't have a motor. I'd probably stick the 4.8 you have in there.

yeah if i get it i think ill just scrap the truck, and its a 4.3 lol the 4.3 i have is a jasper with only around 40,000 miles
