speedo problems

ok so i got a 88 crx with an ls/vtec swap in it and ls trans and my speedo is def off i used my trucker friends GPS with speedo gauge on it and its seems like im 5 mph off when im up around 50 and about 7-10 mph over 65

exmp: speedo says 55 im really doing 50
speedo says 90 im really doing 80

any ideas????

learn to live with it, or convert to an electronic vss

my buddy is a tech at a audi,bmw,mercedes,etc shop and he said you would be surprised whats acceptable when it comes to speedo accuracy.
