Figured I would change this up so it's not as long winded and sums up whats been done and plans so far.

    The back story:

I got a free Del Sol shell from a buddies co-worker. Was originaly a Vtec with a B16 in it but he had swapped it to a GSR. A job opertunity opened up for him and he could not sell the body so I tolled him I would take it off his hands so he would not have to store it. I had a D15 out of my old sedan that I have dropped in untill I can get the new motor built and in.

Done so far to the shell:

Brakes and fuel lines rerouted and tucked away off the firewall for a cleaner looking engine bay. Upgraded to a Walbro 255 fuel pump.

D15B7 and Trans dropped in "for now"

    Remote battery in trunk

Rear Disc conversion (done prior to me getting the car)

    The motor:

Got a B18a for cheep and am going for an LSVtec swap have the motor mostly tore down and am getting the block honed

    440cc DSM injectors

    Eagle H beam rods

    Still to come:

    Up graded cams

    After market Pistons

    Upgraded Intake

    Upgraded exhaust

Heavily debating boosting (And I think it's winning)

More updates to come, and thanks to everyone who has helped out with any questions I had and suggestions on what and how to do things.

Well It's been a while like I said possibly slowest build ever. Updates so far are I now have the Fuel and brake lines routed and all set to go Just need to get a flair adapter for the master cylinder. It also looks like I am going to have to route the battery to the trunk with where the wire harness is currently placed. One question I have with this is can I just get "X" gauge wire and mock something up my self or should I actually spend the $$ to buy a kit?

Unfortunately there will probably be another large gap till I can get some more work done as I am pretty booked with work during the week, and now that duck and upland hunting seasons are open here my time is spent in the woods. I am guessing not much will get done till after deer season is over with in mid November. If any thing else gets done will I'll try to get more updates going...

I'd just get the wire and DIY. Get some good terminals for the battery posts. Also, consider using an Optima battery.

Have fun hunting. I've been out riding the trail bike in nearby large fields after work and taking the dog out to the same places - the weather sucked this past summer - but, it's fall fabulous now. :)

Well got the parts for the remote battery hook up and started to hook it up untill I noticed that I got propane for the torch, and not the ignitor/torch end thinking I had that. Get home and find that I have 6 propane tanks and not torch end. so now I'm back to square one Grrr. Found an Optima batt for 160 so picked that up as well thanks for the tip.

    Dogs

Frustrated - understandable. I looked around for where I got the terminals for the Optima in my Civic - couldn't find where they came from. They have worked out well and "0" corrosion for many years. On second Optima battery since 2002.

Here, this will give you a chuckle: http://www.senorpanadero.net/uploader/userfiles/stevew/Redneck%20Paintball%20Duck.wmv

Nothing like going out and working with some good dogs.

My boy, Casey (he'll be 4 this January 7th, we have birthdays on same day):

Okay that was good, also Ironic on the brithday with the dog as both mine share my birthday as well. They were both from the same litter we had back in 2005. I still remember going to school and coming home too 13 little puppy's waiting for me in the kennel. Best birthday present ever.

How is your project coming get a chance to get outside on it yet now that the weather is actually nice. (Granted its been mid to high 80's up here for some unknown reason the last week.)

I thought you'd like the Duck Paintball - those boys know how to have some good ole' fashioned harmless fun.

Nope, haven't touched the car in a while. I've been screwing around (Juvenile Delinquent DNA kicks in from time to time) with a Trail Bike I picked up over the Labor Day weekend. But, I'll get out there to it soon. Have a couple of racing karts of which one is going up for sale - I thought about it, and over the years the most fun I ever had was on a Fox mini-bike I got for xmas when I was 11. So, WTF I bought another mini-bike, only a little larger this time around. And, I was right, it's a blast to ride around the large fields near my house. 46 years doesn't change that much for some of us - just need a little more horsepower. Loose a Rotax powered VMT racing kart and gain a mini-bike.

Here it is a few weeks later - re-geared and a Comet Torque Converter installed. Next a front brake and the head's going to spend some quality time on the milling machine and a Mikuni carb.

Now it launches when ya hammer the throttle! If it's got an engine, it doesn't stay stock very long around here.

    Back to the Honda soon........

EDIT - notice the MyChron gauge set I borrowed from the Shifter Kart. Yeah, I know a $700 gauge set on a $549 mini-bike is a bit much - I'll pull it once gearing and jetting is right. The EGT sensor, head temp and tach are nice tuning tools. :) Picture below shows a heli-coil thread repair of the RH handle bar pillow mount.

Oh yeah those little trail bikes are fun. Had for for tooling about the pits at my motox races. That thing used to have a little 5hp B&S untill we decided our little 80cc engine from a four wheeler that the frame was snapped on needed a new home.

And that gauge set DO WANT!!!!!!

I know my room mate is looking for one to put on his new project. A lotus 7 replica he is building from the ground up... Honestly it concerns me abit and I have expressed my worries about it but he is choosing to ignore me. I have been in many a kit cars and this is one I will not drive/ride in.

Well she purrs like a Vietnamese whore. :D:D:D

Next step is to get the body back in shape and painted. I also need to get my ass in gear and decide what swap to do. Thinking either a B16/18, or LS still not sure. Also once I get the body together I'll have extra parts I know right now I have some spare interior parts from the Sol and from my Sedan parts car.

Good deal! Way to go bro! I did some work in mine over the weekend - should be a good boy and update the build thread - like you did.
