Trust me, you're "utopia" is something that crossed my mind when I was still in my early teens. Pretty much any utopian/dystopian thought about society, and what it could become has crossed my mind, but I usually come back to reality.

Hardly. Post Apocalyptic life is gonna rock. Imagine the heartiness of Colonial America with today's technology. And not just social networking on iphones - But a team of guys getting together and restarting the REAL space program. Radio without ads. Loans made at reasonable terms. A currency actually based on something. The list goes on.

The Celerity PA Thread is about that.. Well, until I forgot all about it and starting looking for a new house.
