Page 5-10 is the sequence to adjusting the idle. Just like my was.

Also page 6-86 has trouble shooting for idle. Check it out. It goes step by step.

What the hell???

I looked into the manual and gave you pages to check out.....what is up?????

Adjust the screw while its running...the irregular idle should level out

oh shit my bad, I forgot to respond.
I ended up adjusting the the idle screw just a little to lower it a bit and that seamed to help. It hasn't been surging or acting crazy since I cleaned it, I was checking the vacuum but it seems fine. i'll have to check into it again mid week.

I've been pretty busy with computer systems messing up at work causing me to have to work some longer hours and all of this weekend. And I just found out that my Ship date has been moved up to the 26th of this month so I'm also busy trying to get some stuff straight for the marines.

I should have responded sooner, sorry about that.

That's cool...an easy way to check for a vacuum leak is to get a can of break parts cleaner and spray it on your vacuum lines and listen for your idle to drop it starved the engine momentarily...it saves a lot of time
