    Would anyone vote for him?
If he gave a fuck and ran the country like a business and could get us into the black ink I would be all for it.

Something tells me he would just roll out the red carpet for business interests to make the rich richer and fuck all to the rest of us.

No way would I vote for Trump. Hey may make an okay economic adviser but that would be about it. Id like to see someone elected that is smart enough to know what areas they are less knowledgeable about respected enough to surround themselves with people who do know.

    lmfao, what a touch call
at least trump knows how to run a business and knows red from black
we need someone who understands this country will no longer even be able to afford the INTEREST payments on its debt, let alone paying off any principal
and we need someone who gets the idea of snow balling entitlements...

Perot tried this and couldn't get a party nomination. Took votes away from the other republican running. This is how clinton got elected.

My dog would be a better president than Obama, so in a Trump v Obama I would vote for him.

I cant imagine the last 3 years would have been much different if Juan Mccain were president.

Only difference is we’d have an unpopular amnesty bill instead of an unpopular healthcare bill. Guantanamo would still be open, wed still be in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.

Yes, but we would have known this was the plan all along, instead of being lied to about 'coming home'.

Obama got elected by telling everyone he was going to solve their specific problems.

Lower taxes, Free Heathcare, No War, No Wiretapping, No Guantanamo, Better Education, etc.

He said what he had to in order to get elected.

... Just like the (now silent) tea party.

I don't quite think the tea party is silent...
I think there's a lot more to be heard from them in the next 2 years.

Trump v. Obama I'd vote for Trump. But like I said I'd much rather see someone else on the ticket.

Hasn't Trump run several of his businesses into bankruptcy in the past?

I don't know if he exactly ran them into the ground personally but yes several of his interests have crashed and burned but he has always come back. Hell some would argue that you learn more through failure than success.

It could just be he has enough money to start up multiple businesses(where other individuals may be bankrupt or broke from just a single business going down).

As much as I dislike trump yes. Yes he has come back from failures that I think is what america is about. Make a mistake, learn from it.

At that, he's a celebrity rich guy. Nothing special, I'd rather have buffett or allen or gates running the show if we want to elect a rich guy that knows how to make money, and lots of it.

theres far too much logic in this political thread.

you guys should be careful with that.
its a proven fact that oil and water mix better than those two.
and like magnetic fields of the same pole, they will try to repel, forcing them together will end worse than dividing by zero or being french and going to war.

Though, it would be better to learn from the mistakes of others so you don't make those same mistakes yourself.

IMO, guys like Trump, etc. would be better advisers than a president.
