I had 205/40zr17 on my 94 civic dx when I had the car and it was lowered 2" - 2 1/2"

Maybe on an EK, but on an EG/EH 40mm offset and 17" will not fit without rubbing. I have 16" 40mm with 205/50/16 (close to a 17 with 205/40/17) fenders rolled and I rub once in a while during cornering.
