That should be mandatory, so that all the fat asses playing that game get in shape.

Are these kids serious?!? 1/2 mi in 4:50? That's only a 9:40 mile? People can't even run a 9:40 mile anymore? I run a consistent 7:20 for 2 1/4 miles at lest 3 times a week! This is pathetic. This post has seriously made me disapointed to be a part of this generation.

They do have pedals that you hook up to your monitor to keep it on.

I play WoW, and just laughed my ass off lol.

I think they should have each had five full backpacks on to make it more like the game lol

My fastest mile ever was in high school, 7:30-something, and I was practically dead afterwards. :D Miles for me were typically in the high 8's or low 9's.

I was completely out of shape though. At one point after high school I was jogging with my dogs every night for several months... we were in a small house with almost no yard back then, and I felt that they needed more exercise (forget me, what about the doggies! :D). I'm sure I could have pulled a much better time during that period.

In high school I ran a 4½ min mile. Now I run 1½ miles for my PRT in like 9 mins.

The fastest I ever saw anyone run a mile was 5:30ish. We used to have to do that Presidential Physical Fitness test and we got timed.

My personal best was 6:50, and I doubt I could walk a mile now without needing to stop for a smoke or two.

I ran a 16 minute 3-mile back in high school.

That was intense. Of course, it was also at 4000 feet.
