Y8 Intake Manifold

I have the chance to get a cheap D16Y8 intake manifold without the fuel rail or injectors. Will my D16A6 rail and injectors fit on? Or of any rails and injectors that will fit?

Should I buy up the manifold for $50, its in nice shape. But it doesn't have the injectors or fuel rail.

I'm almost certain my injectors will fit in.

is there pics of it? sometimes you might need to do some wiring modification depending on whether it was from a auto or manual, depending on the year as well, or so i'm told. could be wrong...

if it is off of a automatic with a 4 wire iacv it wont work on a manual. and you cant just change the valve the machine work on the manifold is diffrent. Also you will have to find a y7 or y8 fuel rail your injectors will work though.

Ok...I talked to him and its from a manual car but he doesn't know what year. We also settled on $45.

Meh...I would't have bought it anyway. I'll go the wreker tomorrow. I'm thinking for just the rail $15-$25.

What about my throttle cable and anything else I should know?

don't really need it now though. it came out to 60 for price plus shipping so, it's not a huge leap to just get the one for 75 bucks.

it probably would have cost more to ship to canada anyways.

you cant just drill them out one of them is a port that goes to the tb and the other to the intake plenum. trust me you would need a mill not a drill to acomplish this. thats why i said a automatic manifold wont work
