as the title states, what are you gonna do with your tax refund if you get one. i did mine and got mine back and bought a truck. i bought a fully loaded 2003 Ford Explorer with the 4.6L v8 in it. will post pics of it later on

No idea how much we are getting back but i'm assuming in the 4-5k range. With that we will pay off our Mattress we bought awhile back and our Pellet stove and paint our bedroom and upstairs hallway and buy new bedroom furniture. If we get more then that then I may think about updating my basement with paint, carpet, crown molding, shadow boxes and make it looks real nicey nice.

I try not to get many Gs back at the end of the year. We pay extra towards the mortgage principle every month religiously and will end up much further ahead in the long run. we'll probably get 500 or so this year if I had to guess. No real plans for it. We have been talking about getting a certain license that will allow us to carry a certain tool on our person so maybe finally get around to it.

I'm making 3 or so car payments. Er, no. Wait I owe 200 dollars.

my refund this year went to paying off debt. paid off the last credit card and the personal loan.
now debt free not counting the mortgage, so, thats the next to be chiseled down. im going to build the savings up to over 10k, then every extra bit thats left from paychecks at the end of the month will go to the mortgage.

Pay off overdraft bank account, buy a borescope, a couple boxes of Havana's and some more car parts for the resurrection of the '91 hatchback.

Probably just pay off my credit card, then put whatever is left into the medical bills I have left.

My return got eaten by the fact that my ex-wife didn't pay taxes on any of her income last year, and it's easier to file jointly, and get nothing back than file separately and have to deal with the hassle of the legal crap.

bahahahahhaha
i see this happen so many times. the oldest trick in the book.
i know of women that specifically have no withholding, or claim the most exemptions, so their husbands get left with the tax bill.
vindictive shit. honestly makes me sick dealing with them, but its not my mess to clean up, i just do what the clients ask of me.

buying a sonicare toothbrush, and putting the whole thing toward my periodontal work.

meh, ultimately i got the better end of the deal. I claim 2 exemptions, live by myself, and still get less taken out of my check each month. She WAS doing contract work all last year, and now she's W-4 with 0 exemptions. I think I win in the long run.

Getting back about $8k (thank you $30k deductions!). Putting it into the new house savings fund. Hoping to secure land later in 2014 for a 2015 build and move.

That just sounds awful.

It'll go into the checking account and get lost in the monthly budget. Had to do the waterpump in my car and that ate it up before I even got it.
