Im looking for the pinouts for a PR3 OBD1

want to make sure my wiring is correct.

Thanx

Wrong. The 92-93 Integra XSi and XSi-R both came with an OBD1 PR3.

The XSi-R almost exclusively came with external EPROMs from the factory. Then again, there were only a couple hundred made... Precursor to the B16B... *Tall* B16 block stamped just "B16A" no number... One of my local homies was lucky enough to get one of those more or less by accident when he ordered a B16A1. Runs consistent 14.1s in a CRX.

The regular 92-93 XSi ECUs have either 205 or 219 stamped on top of the 66207 proc, and are functionally identical to a JDM P30 (knock board present, no PA sensor, no injector test.).

Lookup the pinouts for a JDM P30, or even a USDM P30/P28. :)

dave? XSi-R?? wtf? i have been on G2ic for a few years and have NEVER heard of an R model XSI. Plus, arent all JDM motors sans number? All of the JDM B16s and B18cs I have seen have had no # designation. people always say "b16a1" but they mean G1 B16a. How do you know it is a "tall" block?

ben

no, there DOES exist a b16a1. it was really are, like dave said. I've seen pics... of course i didn't save it... lol
E_solsi saw it too... and can back it up. but, i was not aware it was a tall-block liek the b16b's.

if anyone has solid info on it (bore/storke, etc) i'd love to get my hands on it

a lot of that shit is wrong... lol

according to dave, its from that xsi-R

found the pic:

crazy. i though dave said this XSi-R motor was "stamped just "B16A" no number," which is just like all the ones I have seen and swapped into shit.

I just looked through that thing to see if I could find where the b16a1 was out of. hmmmmmmmm... weird.

dave? anymore info?

Ben

I ferget the exact measurements on the block - I can try to talk to the kid and go over there again with a tape measure. I remember measuring block - pan and having it be a little less than half an inch greater than the other B16 dropout we had in the garage at the time. I might have been really baked at the time, but I don't think so as we measured it more than once in disbelief.

This was about a year and a half ago. The motor was an odd one. LSD YS1 transmission, OBD1 electronics, OBD1 PR3 ECU with a factory external chip + 66X301. I unfortunately butchered the factory chip removing it so I'll never know what was inside. Runs consistent 14s on a VERY slow track (consistently 1/2sec slower than the other track in town for my CRX) all motor in a CRX with street tires.

The kid who owns it is somewhat of a friend of mine so I could prob try to head back over there sometime... He's getting into DIY ECU stuff and will prob have tons of questions for me. :) He's putting 12.5:1 compression pistons and some EF1 cams in the motor in prep for this season, so it won't be a problem to measure the block now.

holy shit.. i have one of those blocks!!!

and this whole time i thought i got sold a jank obd0 engine with a new distributor..

oh well.. i tore it out and put a b18 block in anyways

Ben hasn't been here since 2006.... not sure you're going to get a response.

Perhaps instead, post a thread with your question and someone can likely help you out.
