I know this is a month later but I finally discovered the culprit, and it pissed me off. The little (and I mean little) gasket on the IACV was missing, I didn't even notice until I got a new one in. Put it all back together with a gasket and blammo, smooth idle at 800.
Set them all to 1 and drive around, set them all to 4 (or 8) and drive around. Decide which way you like it better and go from there. "Best" setting is going to change from butt to butt, however, it should say whether stiffness goes from 1-4 or 4-1.
Holy hell, that thing spends more time shifting gears than it does actually in them. Once they really work out the traction issues (if possible) that car will be lightning.
How are they not lining up? If it eyeballs to be a fit but isn't quite going in take a look at the sliders. Both sides can slide individually and sometimes can get off from eachother. I had that happen after pulling the seats out of my accord and it kicked my ass before I realized the left...
I had the Eibach Sportlines on my Integra and loved them. Very firm ride without being punishing, and definitely did wonders for the handling (especially over factory LS springs).
Regardless of the springs you get you will want to get a better set of shocks too, else your ride quality will...
Only made it to 155 in the teg before the wreck, hope to see 200 with it someday.
My Accord just rolled 234 yesterday, still runs like a scalded dog, and its been an abused car for sure.
I would probably start by cleaning up the wiring. Redo the wiring correctly and see if that fixes your problems.
Either way you dont want splices held w/ electrical tape, it will dry out and cause shorts and/or fires.
Might as well, when I had a brake problem w/ the integra I put in brembo blanks and Hawk HPS pads, loved that setup and it was like, $150 for all 4 corners.
It depends on what you use your car for. Overall though I would say get the LSD tranny over the non-LSD assuming you have the bread for either. It should bolt in with no problems as well because the 94's did come with the H-series as well. Although, I am 95% on this.
If you can bolt the condensor to the block and get a belt the right length, I'm sure you could make the rest of it fit without too many problems.
Can you bolt a D series condensor to a B series block anyone?
B18b didn't come in GSR's
A b18b harness wont work, at least not without some rewiring for VTEC
A B18c harness will work, if thats what you have.
Even if your not losing anything at the torque converter your still down a gear (or two) on the manual guys, which is wear the auto really hurts you.
However, relish your lack of clutch pedal in rush hour traffic.
Something loose? Have you checked all the nuts/bolts/fasteners? Can you tell a more specific area the noise is coming from other than the front end? Have someone walk outside of the car while you drive in reverse and see if you can't pin down the location better.
