2000 type r into 95 civic coupe dx

I need help with whats required for the ecu wiring of The B18C5 swap into 95 civic DX.
Do i use the wiring harness from the 2000 engine and what do i need for the 2000 ecu? I need to have a complete swap kit in place before i do it.
please help as this is the first time i have attempted to do a swap.

if its USDM you can use the ITR engine harness ... if its JDM then you can just modify yours

if you plan to keep the PS you need the bracket from a Del Sol VTEC

you need the shift linkage from a 3rd gen integra (the ITR linkage will work if you get it)

axles (3rd gen integra)

for the ECU just get a chipped P28 or a P30 (OBD-1)

del sol VTEC radiator hoses

ITR mounts should work if it comes with them

you will need to customise the CAT to get it to fit to the ITR exhaust manifold

i think thats about it cant quite remember

Now is also a good time to install the header you want to run, Clutch, flywheel.

Just picked up my swap today. one thing I noticed was a few drops of water
in the valvtrain and residual oil looks milky. could that be from a bad head gasket?
Spark plugs looked OK (light tan)

do a compression ckeck first but you should be fine. how many miles on the motor? lets see some pics! good luck

Did a compression check, All cylinders except #1 are 240psi ,#1 is 150, Also i hear what sounds like a hiss on that cylinder at the exhaust side and i think its a valve problem. I dont have a problem with doing any work to it because its the moter i really wanted with only 40K miles. The rest of the moter is so clean you could eat off it.

The problem with the low compression was a bent exhaust valve on cylinder #1,
fortunatly I have a good friend who owns a machine shop so that took care of it.
and here are the pics if anybody cares to see.
I hosted them on my web page and just disregard the dates in the pics(just put batteries in the camera)

Well your next step is to lower it, but that looks great, fitted in perfectly, I wish I had enough for that when I bought my swap.
