Just like a train, it has a generator for burning fuel to power the electric drivetrain which means, 600+ miles of range. You go on your charge, and then re-charge as you drive burning the engine.
I lose power a lot for some reason so i've been debating the whole house generator, or a portable battery pack set up (eg, jackery or anker solix) but i need 240v for the well which puts those at a 10k install with a transfer panel, enough battery packs/etc and a 10 year lifespan and single purpose use. Having the truck be my truck and my house back up sounds awesome. And, I can top it off with fuel to get another 'refill' if i need to somewhere, as easily as driving it to an open gas station.
probably going to be 80k+ though
