hey we have a d16z6 swap in a 94 civic .. the engine runs strong and all but i see the vtec sylenoid is not hooked up?? and there is no wires or anything leading up toward the sylenoid from ecu or anything ( obviously i dont know too much about cars ) and as well there is a intake manifold spacer on and when i tried to remove it was reving from maybe 600rpm to 1200rm very dramatically and when i put it back on it went a little more normal but still messed up(assuming mass air flow sensor?). so my question is , is could they have left the ecu from the old engine and used that so there is no vtec hook up orr could they have cut the wires or????? plz help thanks
