Like the other guys said, the easiest way to do this is to just modify the civic harness to fit the new engine. You really don't want to rip out the dashboard to get to the harness back there. I know I wouldn't anyway...
i bought the gsr engine harness but it didnt come with the section that goes to the ecu so should i just use the civic wiring for that part or should i buy the gsr one
