97 cx air bag????

Hey guys, i got a 97 cx and i need a new air bag, driver side. ICould buy on from a 98 but the guy says it will only fit 98 to 00. It would be nice to get some advice. Thx

I believe 96-2000 should all work. Why not just throw an aftermarket steering wheel on and forget about the air bag? I remove all of mine.
