Hey guys noob here. Needing some help. I have a 99 ex with a D16y8 v-tec in it. Problem is I let my cousin drive it and he blew my headgaskets and now engine keeps overheating. I want to swap in another D16y8(zc) for about 1400 because my engine has about 230,00 miles already on it. Questions is will this engine drop right in? Since I am new at this I want to try this swap myself so I can at least have a car to drive around. Until I save enough for a B16b which i found for 3000. Will i need any other parts to drop in the D16y8. Please help i need my car to get around. Thanks for any info.

head gasket would be cheaper, but for the question - yes it uses the same motor mounts, i did a lil research and all i found said it will fit right in... chk this out n c if its what u need to kno- The DOHC ZC Swap
