Is it true that the accords are faster then the civics stock?I know they just came out with a 2007 or 2008 accord that comes stock with 268 horses and i havent seen a civic thats faster then the older accord either ?Any help?

Well, the engine list will help some, but you have to consider also that a typical Accord will be significantly heavier than a typical Civic. The main thing you'll notice from the Accord engines is that they have quite a bit more torque than the Civic engines. This is necessary to get the heavier Accords moving.
As to your original question, yeah, I think a lot of the Accords, in stock form, are actually a bit quicker than the Civics, the V6 Accords especially. And you're right about the 08 Accord being hella quick. I've heard that it's actually a bit faster than the S2000. This is the V6 model though, with the 6 speed transmission. Obviously a four cylinder automatic isn't going to be anywhere near that fast.

im doin a engine swap on my motor because i have 225,000 miles on the stock 2.2 but it still runs strong but i dont want to chance it so im goin to a f20a dohc non vtec and it should be coming in a week or so and yes i made a mistake i wanted to go with a vtec 1 but i thought it was a vtec and it wadsnt but i already paid for it so cant change it now you no? but im just going with a f20a...idc wat people say about it thats where im at rite now so if you can help me out that would be greatly appreciated thanx

Gotcha. Well I assume that you have a 92 lx, so you're basically doing a motor replacement more than anything, correct?

yah its only 25 horsepower more i did nt have enough to go with the h22a like i wanted to...

yah i was told the h23 parts fit on the f20a but idk do they?
im not sure and want know until you get the motor then ill be able to tell you more
