I will have to post a picture of the monster antenna on my house. I am going to try to connect it my tv to see how it works.

The wires have been cut. There was a box to control it, but I guess a family friend of the wifey threw it out when they were cleaning the place. I am going to look into the wiring one of these days. I have only been here for 10 days.

I've done a lot of OTA TV antenna installs. You're probably better off with a couple cheap directional antennas into a phased array than you are with an old "broadcast television" antenna. The spectrum they were designed for just isn't used anymore, and you'll wind up blowing out the front end of the TV because those frequencies/bands have been re-issued.

It works, heh. My complaint is that it doesn't run on my linux workstation, but I can run an android vm on it and the client runs fine.

How does it not work on Linux? VLC supports UPnP channels...
