What the Outer Banks lack in hills, they make up for with a special kind of wind.

Reminds me of doing the Yale Smilow Century. The winds on the shoreline in Old Saybrook and all the way back to New Haven suck. But the Smilow has 5000ft of elevation. I would honestly rather ride hills than deal with a head wind.
