electrical problems encountered after a auto to five speed swap 92 Accord EXR (both cars were same model and trim level). keep getting code 17 indicating speed sensor problems and then will get a code 12 indicating EGR problems because of no speed info being sent.. speedometer does not work.. read that excellent forum article on the auto/5 spd swap and will trace through electrcal wiring.. that is probably my problem.... car runs well with no other issues...found in the auto car that the under dash wiring had no provision for the safety start switch or cruise control switch for the clutch pedal.. found this unusual for a Honda previous wiring in other Hondas has provisions for most all applications... comments? also request location of speed sensor unit and electronic cruise unit if any can help..
