I've broke 2 plus 4 half inch ratchets taking one off. There are a few things you can do. If you have any freinds that have air tools, have them take it out, then tighten it back up with hand tools, drive it back to your place and have at it. You could probally even ask a guy at a shop to do that (don't ask the front desk because they will charge you up the ass. Just come with your center caps off and your axle nuts unstaked so all they have to do is stick their gun on the nut)
Other options are go to sears and buy a 3/4 inch breaker bar. You will not brake this. For the socket, go with impact grade. You can then slip a long steel bar over the end and take the nut off that way.
