B16 Questions

Recently my SOHC ZC motor blew up. Since I have to get a new motor for my EF Civic I am thinking of going for a B16. Only problem is the only one I can find has an auto tranny bolted on it. I can source a cable or hydro gearbox for the motor but can I simply unbolt the auto tranny and put a gearbox on or will this not work at all?

you will also need a flywheel and clutch

Oh another question, will i need to change the ecu since it was an autmatic?

yes, you need a manual ecu
