B16A and B18C Headstuds?

Can I use the ARP Headstuds from my B18C5 Head and Block with a B16A and the Type R Head?

B16A block?

I read somewhere on this forum B18 studs wont work on B16 blocks because the B16A uses shorter head studs due to the fact the block is also shorter.

ARP uses different part numbers, which to me means - different studs.
