b18b in 94 civic

many people around here are running civics with ls motors and putting a b16 trans on them for the shorter gearing.....does anyone know if the b15 trans would work and if so would it be benificial my me to put it in an ls civic swap? both motor and car are 94...thanks for your help

well the SiR gearing is pretty short, a good balance would be GSR gearing but the SiR is nice..

There is no B15, if you meant B16, you already answered your own question, and if you meant D15, no.

Nope, B series and D series are not friends, and they don't intermingle.
