YEAH I JUST BOOSTED A D16Z6 WIT A GT30R DUAL BALL BEARING, AND I BLEW THE HEAD GASKET, ITS OEM AND WOUNDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A AFTERMARKET HEAD GASKET THAT WOULD BE BETTER
head studs are useful at 7psi. or over 8k rpm. you'll find much more reliability with studs than any gasket. besides, most gaskets will only recommend studs with their product, with the exception of the OEM one, which will recommend that you don't turbocharge their engineering masterpiece.
i have a feeling that i might of lifted the head a little lol! after the tune i tq. them down at 55foot pounds! what do u think of a Billet CNC Machine Block Guard! not to sure what that pervents!
doesnt hondata make a headgasket for turbo motors? I know there a headgasket that is alot thicker than the stock one that is made for boosted cars but dont really remember the name
