building a mini will this block work

i blew my z6 up and i got an 89 hf motor chillin and was wondering if it will bolt into my 94 civic ex. im gonna do a mini me with my z6 head. im gonna rebuild the block and i wanna use the zc pistons and a y8 headgasket. will this be faster than my stock z6.

It'll be about the same... the DOHC ZC pistons are shorter than D15 pistons, so you'll still only get about 9.x:1 compression with the mini-me setup. If you want to increase compression and actually gain some power with the new configuration, get a set of PM3 D15 pistons.
