Yeah, and what? If GameStop is selling a game on a physical disk then that means someone else bought it new previously and paid for it, so did the publisher not make money off of it? I guess I don't understand what the issue is here. It seems like the game makers want to double-dip...
Which is exactly why I don't buy from GameStop. If they were actually offering any type of significant discount on used games then I might consider it, but if they're only going to knock off $5 from the price of a recently-released game then I'd rather just pay that 5 extra dollars and get a fresh copy sealed from the factory rather then one that's been sitting around at God knows who's house.
I really don't even know how places like GameStop stay in business. They give you next to nothing for trade-ins and then turn around and charge other people almost full price for used games...
