i wouldn't go more than +2 intake -2 exhaust at first. you are going to have to play around with it to feel whats best on your particular engine. try 1,0 first then +1,-1 and switch em around a little bit and drive on them for a day or so to see where its pulling hard etc.
the tensioner is easy to see. it's round smaller than a cam gear and the timing belt runs along it
