i was driving my 240 in some semi-deep snow the other day and the clutch was feeling looser than usual. i checked it when i got back home and the resevoir was empty. it shifted a lot harder and didn't want to go into gear easily. i've been driving my civic since then. today i went to see if it would move so that i could take a look and find the leak. the clutch pedal just hits the floor and stays there. i was able to lift up the front end and look at the slave cylinder and it was the only part that i could find any moisure on and it is definately clutch fluid. i take the slave off and take it apart and the inner bore looks fine and the piston seals don't seem to be cracked at all. should i just swap the slave out or does anyone have an different idea?
and what type of fluid do you use for the clutch? DOT 3 brake fluid?
